COVID-19: Second Batch of Chinese Government Emergency Supplies to Uganda

China delivered its second batch of Emergency Supplies meant to support Ugandan government in the fight against Covid-19. The aid from Chinese Government included 20,000 Protective Suits, 50,000 N95 Medical Masks, 500,000 Surgical Masks, 15,000 Protective Goggles, l5,000 pairs Medical Gloves and 5,000 pairs Shoe cover.

Meanwhile, other Chinese companies in Uganda are still are also contributing to the country’s efforts in the fight against Covid-19. Chinese construction Company, China Railway Seventh Group has donated different kinds of supplies worth millions of shillings to Kikuube Police Station, to support Ugandan government’s effort in fighting the fight against COVID-19.

Among other items, CRSG also respond Ugandan government’s call by donating two tipper trucks to assist the fight against COVID-19.

Other Chinese companies such as Hunan Road and Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd, Acacia Foundation, Chinese Union in Uganda donated items worth 90 million, 120 million, 460 million respectively.
